  中国科学院分子植物科学卓越创新中心(原中国科学院上海植物生理生态研究所)面向我国农业可持续发展及生态环境安全的重大战略需求,聚焦植物独特的生理现象,解决重要经济性状定向调控的基础理论和先进生物技术瓶颈。经过多年的建设与发展,中科院分子植物科学卓越创新中心已经在植物基因组、植物发育及植物环境互作、生物固氮、光合作用及矿质营养等领域建成杰出的人才高地、重大成果发源地和一流的现代植物基础科学研究中心。

  根据学科发展需求,中心拟面向国家“碳中和”重大需求,面向海内外公开招聘多名学术带头人,加强围绕“碳中和”目标开展基础研究所需的人才队伍。应聘人应在光合作用、碳同化与分配、生物固氮、碳氮平衡、源库互作、生物质能源、植物根系发育、碳汇调控及评估等领域具有优秀的研究基础,也欢迎从事其它有望服务“碳中和”目标研究领域的中青年科学家申请。中心将为入选者提供具有国际竞争力的科研环境、平台、启动经费和薪酬福利待遇。

Faculty Positions available in the Center for Excellence in Molecular Plant Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences

The mission of the Center for Excellence in Molecular Plant Sciences (CEMPS, originally Shanghai Institute of Plant Physiology and Ecology), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), is to develop novel solutions for sustainable agriculture and to promote ecological civilization. The research in CEMPS focuses on developing new theories on plant physiological processes and the development of cutting-edge technologies to enable targeted manipulation of economically important plant traits. After years of development, CEMPS has become an international research hub in areas including plant genomics, plant development, plant-environment interaction, symbiotic nitrogen fixation, photosynthesis, and mineral nutrition etc., supported by its high-caliber faculty, its first-class research facility, and the delivery of first-class high-impact work. Called upon by the national research priority of creating a carbon neutral society by 2060, CEMPS is now recruiting new faculty members to address fundamental questions in plant sciences and to develop novel plant-based technologies for supporting carbon-neutralization. Applicants should have a strong research background in one or more of the following areas: photosynthesis, carbon assimilation and partitioning, biological nitrogen fixation, carbon-nitrogen balance, source-sink interaction, bioenergy, root development, ecosystem carbon budget. We also welcome scientists who work on other areas that can help deliver novel plant-centric solutions to support building a carbon-neutral society. CEMPS will provide an internationally competitive research environment, facilities, startup package, salary and benefits for successful applicants.
